Micro-needeling

Serenity Aesthetics providers microneedling as an option for treating acne scars and wrinkles. This is a relatively quick procedure that can be performed in approximately one hour  for a full face.There is very little down time and patients can typically go back to their regular skin care routines the very next day.* For enhanced outcomes, our medical providers can even combine microneedling with other treatments, like PRP which uses your own plasma to reduce healing time and enhance skin rejuvenation.

How it works

The key to more radiant skin is collagen production.

Micro-needling works by using tiny needles to create small perforations, or ‘micro-channels’ in the skin. This stimulates the healing response of the deeper layers and encourages your skin to make new, collagen-rich tissue.

The micro-channels created during the treatment allow active ingredients from your skincare products to penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin to deliver even more powerful results. For truly visible results, we recommend a minimum of three treatments to continually build your collagen and elastin. Recovery time for micro-needling is minimal. Thanks to the powerful skin stimulation, expect to some redness for 24-48 hours post treatment before the healing begins and the new, glowing skin starts to reveal itself. Your skin will also be more sensitive to the sun post-treatment, so ensure you apply an SPF50 or higher.
